The members and friends of the Cecil Business Leaders express our sincerest condolences to the Johnston family for the passing of Arthur (Artie) Johnston on September 1, 2021.

 

Artie was a charter member of the CBL who along with other business leaders felt the urgent need to prioritize the County focus on economic development supported by critically missing infrastructure in the growth corridor.  Hence, the creation of the CBL in 2011.  

 

He never hesitated from stating an opinion or offering a perspective but did so in a most respectful manner.  He was a true collaborator who was always present to assist.  

 

Artie was a fine gentleman and friend.  He will be forever missed.  Terri and Chad, you are in our prayers.
